“ Lovely staff, fresh food and quick service. The concept is great. Think Cava or Sweetgreen but better!! We got the Balboa and Yam Jam. Great variety and options. The parking is bad but definitely add this restaurant to your rotation. ”

“ Very glad I got to stop by today with my mom; Very friendly service! No wait at all and immediately greeted upon walking in. I want to take a second to shout out Noe! Honestly one of the best customer service interactions I’ve had and he fixed our two Jefe bowls to perfection if I may say (I normally get a second dressing cup of the cilantro lime on the side but didn’t even need it!) Also told us about the new Toro Bowl with the steak and was kind enough to offer a sample to us! We will definitely be back to try it in the future! Steak was very clean and bountiful of flavor. I normally come through the area from work and will add this specific location to my list from now on! Thank you!!! ”

“ I have to kind of raise some eyebrows at some of these reviews because Roots in my opinion never misses. Me and my family routinely go and look for weekend excuses driving from DC just to stop by. What keeps us going back is that Roots is legit using the best ingredients full of flavors and different options if you are looking for healthy food. I hope to see them expand because this place is wayyyy better than your average chipotle. ”

“ Really enjoyed it. Thought the flavors went well together. My only complaint was the chicken could have tasted a little more fresh. Kids can make their own little bowls for free is great since the bowls are a bit pricey. Will definitely go again sometime. ”

“ I saw this restaurant on Google maps while searching for a place to meet friends for dinner. It didn't fit what I had in mind. But intrigued I went there with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the food! We all thought the fresh ingredients, clever mixtures and exciting sauces were wonderful and ever so healthy. Their service was efficient but the atmosphere was sterile and noisy even almost empty...better for takeout. ”

“ I'll start with the bad. the chicken was dry. now that's over with everything else was excellent. I got the el jefe and it tasted like a healthy chipotle bowl. also a slight deal since it's $2 cheaper than making your own chicken bowl and getting avocado. before eating it I was expecting the healthy type of taste that you typically get from sweet green, cava, chopt, etc where it's good but really it's just raw veggies. I was pleasantly surprised that my tongue was greeted by very nicely seasoned and flavorful ingredients. it was more savory than I thought it was going to be. ambience was nice. service was good. the workers were polite and smiled. overall it was excellent but the chicken was dry. ”
